I attended the advanced ECG course last week – an intense but extremely informative experience! Chris and the training team tell you everything you need to know to accurately interpret ECGs, even the most acute and subtle changes. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to develop their skills and provide ECGs!

I completed the Introduction to ECG course with CIPHER Medical some time ago, to get a baseline understanding and head start on ECGs before I started my education as a Student Paramedic. The course was absolutely brilliant and taught students from various backgrounds and qualifications at a level that was appropriate for each individual. The tutor, Chris Jones was brilliant I came away absolutely amazed at how much I could learn in just one day.
As I progressed through my education as a Student, I found there were some areas that I needed some further education on, as I was struggling to understand some ECG concepts. Therefore, I decided to book onto the advancing ECG course, again with CIPHER Medical. This course offered exactly what I needed and the tutor, Rob provided a really relaxed atmosphere which made everyone feel comfortable in asking questions. Towards the end of the course, we had some time spare and Rob went around and asked everyone if they wanted to recap on anything, which was brilliant as I wasn’t completely understanding axis deviation. Rob went through these topics again with the group and gave me some great tips and pointers so that I could go away and do some further reading to better my practice as a future paramedic. Rob also made it clear that if we had any questions after the course, he would be more than happy to support us and we can get in touch.
I highly recommend these courses to those working in both prehospital care and students, as ECG recognition is often a key role, which can significantly contribute towards our care plan for our patients. Thanks to the team for a great experience and I look forward to completing more courses at CIPHER Medical.
