Medical Director at CIPHER Medical Consultancy
Rob Anderson is the Medical Director of CIPHER Medical Consultancy Limited. A Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Care, He has over 15 years experience working in the Pre-Hospital environment. This includes working for 2 air ambulance charities in the North of England and frontline service in Afghanistan serving as a medical officer to the Parachute Regiment.
He is currently a Consultant at James Cook University Hospital and also Medical Director for the newly establish charity BASICS Ambulance North East (BANE). He also currently works with Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Yorkshire Ambulance BASICS scheme. He has also worked with the Critical Care Ambulance Response Unit at the North East Ambulance Service and worked at various hospital trusts around the UK.
He is passionate about delivering the highest standards of medical care and training. Current interests include major trauma management, critical care, sedation, patient pathways and education. In his spare time he enjoys playing cricket and spending time with his family.
