Mark has over 20 years post qualification nursing experience in a variety of roles. Whilst specialising in Accident and Emergency Nursing, Mark also has experience of working in a number of clinical environments including general medical wards, acute assessment units and police custody environments.
In addition to his Advanced Diploma in Adult Nursing, Mark holds a BSc (hons) in Promoting Practice Effectiveness (Nurse Practitioner) as well a UCPGE in Forensic and Legal Medicine. He has mentored hundreds of student nurses throughout his career and acted as sign off mentor for final year students and for registered nurses wishing to become sign off mentors themselves.
Mark has broadened his scope of practice since working for CIPHER Medical. He is qualified in the management of trauma in the pre-hospital environment, MIMMS, and is an emergency response driver, skills which he puts to good use supporting our frontline 999 and event services.
Mark is designated safeguarding officer and promotes privacy, dignity, civility & respect across all of our services.
Mark heads up our logistics team which ensures all our people have the kit, equipment, vehicles and support they require and maintaining health & safety.
