Chris is an experienced Advanced Paramedic in Urgent Care, with a varied background in NHS Ambulance Services, Walk in Centres and Urgent Care facilities.
With vast experience beyond clinical practice, Chris has been a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Studies, developing knowledge of curriculum design, adult education at levels 3-7 and module leadership and in 2014 he was appointed by the Health and Care Professions Council (later HCPTS) as a Partner Panel Member where he adjudicated on Paramedic fitness to practise issues.
Chris has a BSc (hons) in Emergency Care Practice, a PGCE in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and a master’s degree in Medical Law. He has a keen interest in the legal and ethical issues of pre-hospital care and has spoken at UK and international CPD events conferences including EMS2018 in Denmark and runs a Facebook group called Paramethics for anyone interested in the ethical and medicolegal aspects of care.
In his spare time he enjoys walking his small pack of 3 Labradors and running.
